Workshop on NRLM:
The Government of India is in the process of redesigning the
SGSY program into a Mission to achieve the goal of poverty elimination in ruralIndia. The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India,
has prepared a background paper on the NRLMLatest Draft.
To provide
comprehensive feedback to MoRD, Government of India, National Network Enabling Self Help Movement (NN-ABLE), Sa-Dhan and UNDP (Solution Exchange -
Microfinance Community) have jointly organised a one-day workshop on NRLM on 8th October 2009 at New Delhi. The objectives of the workshop are:
1. To Understand the salient features of NRLM and strategies proposed under NRLM
2. To review the experiences an learning from 10 years of SGSY implementation.
3. To provide comprehensive feedback to the MoRD, GoI in designing NRLM
