The Board of Directors of APMAS has a total strength of 21 members representing
the government, financial institutions, NGOs and SHG Federations. APMAS became
fully operational on July 1st 2001, under the chairmanship of Dr. P. Kotaiah,
former Chairman of NABARD, and Mr. C.S. Reddy as the founding CEO.

Mr. K. Madhava Rao took steps as sub-Collector, Narsipatnam, Vishakapatnam District during 1964 to 1966 later he executed
many esteemed positions as Settlement Officer, Secretary to GOI (Ministry of Home Affairs), Deputy Director of Census Operations, Collector &
District Magistrate – Warangal Dist., D.G., Public Enterprises Management Board – Industries Department, M.D., AP State SCs & STs Coop. Housing

Mr. A.L. Nageswara Rao is General Manager, Corporate Communications, Priority Sector & Planning and Marketing Depts at
Andhra Bank, Head Office, Hyderabad. Before joining Andhra Bank, he was lecturer in Nizam College at Hyderabad. He has received
an Award from 'His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India' for rendering laudable services to the SHG Movement in the Sate.
He has been awarded "Rajiv Ratna National Award - 2005 (Best Executive Gold Award) by the national Magazine.
He is called by Government of Andhra Pradesh to interact with Hon'ble Prime Minister of India with select SHGs.

Mr. Jyothi Neelaiah is Chief Executive Officer of Ankuram-Sangamam-Poram based in Hyderabad.
After working in various gross root level organisations, he and his wife Ms. Grace collectively began
their career with Jogins/ Devadasis in Mahabubnagar Dist. Neelaiah co-founded Aashray 1994, Dappu
in 1996 and Ankuram-Sangamam-Poram(A Dalitbahujan Women's Cooperative Movement)in 2000.

Dr. Sheela Prasad, Ph.D.,
Dr. Sheela Prasad is Professor and head, Centre for Regional Studies, University of Hyderabad. She was
earlier Faculty in the Centre for Area Studies, Osmania University from 1984 to 1996. She was invited
as an Interport Lecturer on the Semester at Sea Programme of the University of Pittsburgh and University
of Virginia. She has completed three research projects. She is the author of a book "Urban Health Care
: A Study of Public and Corporate Hospitals in Hyderabad". Dr. Sheela Prasad has a number of publications
to her credit in leading journals in the area of Health, Population Control Policies and Urban Environment.
She is associated with Anveshi Research Centre for Women's Studies, Hyderabad.

Mr. Jayesh Ranjan is presently working as the Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development
Corporation. His previous assignments have been in Hyderabad Urban Development Authority as Vice Chairman for 3 years,
and various rural assignmnts in different parts of the state for over 12 years, working in diverse sectors like Tribal
Development, Natural Resources Management, Poverty Alleviation and other related Social Sector Development.

Mr. Reddy prior to his role in founding APMAS, acted as State Director of CARE
International in Andhra Pradesh for a period of six years, where he played a
lead role in the conceptualization and design of large scale programs like
Sustainable Tribal Empowerment Program (STEP) and Credit and Savings for
Household Enterprise (CASHE). He has a Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in
Statistics and Operations Research, from the University of Hyderabad and a
Master of Science in Statistics and Operations Research, from the Sri
Venkateswara University.
